With the competition grade hi flow core system and the precise weight management technology with guarenteed 50/50 weight distribution, the Sting IBA boxing gloves and designed purely to be an extension of your fist to give the ultimate in comfort and control. The 3" wrist straps wrap around with a velcro closure for a secure fit with added wrist protection and can be put on and taken off without the need of assistance. The thumb is connected to the fingers using a piece of leather which prevents thumb injuries and accidental eye gouges to the opponent.

The Sting IBA Competition Boxing Gloves have been tested to failure in excess of 10,000 strikes as Sting believe in quality over looks. With the classic red and blue colours, you cant go wring in your next competition so grab a pair of the Sting IBA gloves instore or online. They come in 12oz and have matching head gear of required. 

Due to this glove being a top seller, it comes in a variety of sizes, weights and colours to suit all level as well as cater to the "look" also. The sizes available include 8oz, 10oz, 12oz, 14oz, 16oz and 18oz. Choosing a size or weight is generally done by your body weight. Children begin with 6-8oz, 45kg to 50kg for the 10oz, 55kg to 65kg for the 12oz, 65kg to 75kg for the 14oz, 75kg to 90kg for 16oz and over 90kg would generally use the 18oz. This is of course a rough guide as everyone's hand is different in sizing. If you can try them on, this will allow you to get a perfect fit, however if you do not have the option to try on in store, using the above sizing guide should be suitable. 

When purchasing a pair of boxing gloves, it's always recommended to grab a pair of inners which can help prevent sweating, the glove from smelling and overall comfort. You can purchase 3 different types of inners from the basic white material glove that slips on and off with ease, to a quick wrap that is a hybrid between an inner and a full wrap to a hand wrap which is the most common one used for boxers. The hand wrap will give you the most precise support and comfort. Boxing glove deodorisers naturally reduce ordour and bacteria from forming inside the gloves by drawing out any moisture which helps prevent mould from forming. These non-toxic charcoal inners are simply put inside the glove after use and left inside until the glove is used again.

- Your boxing gloves should fit firm and snug, allowing room for wearing hang wraps. The glove will give a little over time so firm is best.
